The Countryside Consulting personnel are non-profit accountants who have a broad range of financial, management and leadership experiences which enhance their ability to satisfy clients’ needs. The highly qualified personnel have professional integrity and a passion to provide excellent service to clients. The collective expertise of the team is tapped to equip each CCI client with finance and accounting best practices that can be applied to the small and medium size tax exempt organization.
The CCI Staff includes Certified Public Accountants (CPA’s), Certified Management Accountants (CMA’s), and Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE’s). The staff obtain continuing education throughout the year to maintain their professional certifications and knowledge of the accounting principles that apply to non-profit organizations. Accounting treatment, financial statement presentation, form 990 tax return applicability, and state charitable solicitation regulations are just a few of the topics for which our non-profit accountants receive update training.
CCI personnel are members of a number of professional associations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants (AWSPCA) the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). One of our staff is also a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
As the premier non-profit accountants in Chester County, Countryside Consulting is a member of the “C4 Consultants” for the Chester County Community Foundation, meeting regularly with Foundation management to assess the pulse and needs of the nonprofit community. CCI’s training for trustees, executive directors and development directors includes topics such as What Major Donors Look for in Nonprofit Financials, Finance 101 Tutorials for Board Members, and Finance Committee Essentials.
