Joseph Klein is a Senior Financial Director at Countryside Consulting, Inc. with responsibility for serving a broad range of CCI clients. His career spans over 30 years of success in some of the most challenging business environments which exist in the nonprofit and corporate sectors. His wealth of experience includes expertise in accounting, finance, technology, treasury and banking, as well as project management. He has been deeply involved and possesses proficiency in infrastructure builds, laying groundwork and stabilizing organizations, process and workflow re-engineering and developing efficiency gains in organizations requiring change, system implementations and conversions, and managing rapid growth, diversification, and consolidation. Mr. Klein’s interpersonal skills and ability to manage, execute and motivate others have earned him great respect as a highly ethical professional who has earned the title of mentor to many.
Mr. Klein’s background includes 10 years in the mega law firm sector, 5 years as Controller for one of the largest international network of multi-channel distributors currently in the marketplace, and the last 15 years within the philanthropic community. Mr. Klein was hired soon after the founding of what is now one of the largest nonprofits and top grant-makers in the U.S., where he was the first Director of Finance & Controller, and functioning in that role for many years. Shortly after his hire he also took on the role of Assistant Treasurer. He remains dedicated to noble causes and those which would make a positive impact on society and bettering the lives of others.
Mr. Klein graduated from Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Professional Certificate in Management, and Professional Certificate in Marketing from Caldwell University. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.
